Sustainable Resource Management and Development Program (SRMDP):
This program enables the participation of communities in managing and conserving their natural resources through the following 4 principles:

3. Principles of Fairness

PAGABAG-O Biofertilizer/Organic Fertilizer Production:
The biofertilizer plant compliments PAGBAG-O environmental and sustainable agriculture training and practices.
Raw materials are purchased from Peoples Organizations members providing a source of income from farm waste, especially important to rural families during off-season.The plant then processes raw materials into biofertilizer and supplies the finished product to PAGBAG-O members at a reasonable price.
This access to affordable biofertilizer allows rural families to reduce farm expenses and avoid or minimize indebtedness.
The production of biofertilizer at the plant creates a sufficient supply of biofertilizer to practice sustainable agriculture on greater areas of land than would otherwise be possible if relying on farm produced biofertilizer.
The biofertilizer plant is a potential income generating business for PAGBAG-O to become economically sustainable in its operations. Its production capacity now ranges from 2,500 bags to 3,000 bags of biofertilizer / year.
